Big show news this week is that TSS is now part of the North American Soccer Network.
If you’re unfamiliar with NASN, then here’s the skinny: It’s a network of quality soccer North American soccer podcasts, examples being their flagship Best Soccer Show, the always fun Radio Cuju, the unusually focused and informative Big Question and many more, including several team-specific shows. And now us.
Why did we want to join? We want as many people as possible to find our show, listen to our show and enjoy our show, and we think being part of NASN will help us make that happen. NASN is continuing to grow, continuing to make people aware of the superb soccer podcast culture that exists in the United States. The network is going places, as the recent additions of 24-hour NASN Radio and the soon to be released NASN app suggest. We’re very excited to be part of what’s happening there.
How will this affect regular TSS listeners? Not too much. Our iTunes feed, RSS feed and Stitcher Radio feed will all stay in the same place. But it will now also be available via NASN Radio, on the NASN website and, once released, via the NASN app. So if you already listen to a lot of NASN shows, finding our most recent episiode will be even easier. Especially during drivetime:
So how does a NASN Radio morning drive time block of @bestsoccershow, @totalsoccershow, @bigquestionshow and @yanksabroad sound?

So there you have it. Exciting stuff for the show, exciting times for soccer shows in general here in the U.S., and we hope you keep listening and keep enjoying.
Awesome guys! Hopefully you’ll get more of a nationwide audience…..Hey question do you have access to any demographics on your current audience? I’d love to get together and offer some marketing research services to answer any questions the show might have.
We just have very basic data about location. Nothing specific; just x number of listens in this country/state/city.
We’d definitely welcome some help though. Shoot me an email: daryl[at]totalsoccershow[dot]com and we can figure something out.
